Who are we?

Kanesha Jones

Our international wedding and portrait photographer. Kanesha has captured precious moments in exotic locales such as Santorini, Mykonos, and Venice (just to name a few). Ask her about her adventures across the world! She’ll tell you tales of backpacking in Europe, connecting on red-eye flights, and eating at restaurants around the globe.

Kanesha earned her BFA in Photography from the University of Oregon (Go ducks!) Since obtaining her degree, she has worked tirelessly to build her skills and keeps up to date with the latest photography techniques and software. (All the better to serve you with, my dear!) When she’s not documenting love stories of budding couples, she spends her time dreaming of all the food she misses in Greece, Japan, Mexico, and Germany. She’ll tell you of her love of breakfast burritos and all things avocado.

Kanesha’s vision for the future includes celebrating the moments her clients will treasure most, with innovative plans to help take your ideas from good to great. She loves nothing more than to sit down with a notebook in hand and brainstorm new ways to elevate your experience. Whether it’s packing an extra crystal ball (ya know, just in case) or stopping at the gas station to grab bottles of water for her clients, she thinks of everything that could happen and makes a plan of action for it.

Working with Kanesha is like hanging out with a new BFF. Your overall experience is near and dear to her heart, and she takes it seriously! She loves nothing more than to be your personal Hype Girl™. She’ll have you laughing like you’re at a comedy show, and she always finds a way to make your personality shine through in your photographs. She’s fun, quirky, inspirational, and only a teensy bit crazy… ;)

While Southwest Florida is her main hub, she will travel anywhere to capture your memories for you. Let’s travel! She LOVES destination weddings!

Collin Spicer

Our wedding photographer and portrait artist. He’s a veteran of the United States Army, Lead Singer and Rhythm Guitar player in his band, avid reader of all things science fiction. Some people call him a space cowboy, and others just call him a Doctor of Love. Collin excels at figuring out what makes you who you are, and then bringing that to life in a still image. He officially began his photography journey in 2014, although he’ll tell you he really got started way back on the Nintendo 64 with Pokemon Snap. He’s captured images of landscapes and architecture in over ten states along the eastern coastline. Some of his most proud pictures came from photographing U.S. Soldiers, Marines, and Airmen.

In 2016 he got serious with his “hobby” and began to study any-and-everything portrait photography related. From attending seminars, to studying under local photographers in Birmingham, he couldn’t satiate his appetite for the perfect shot. His passion for his photography has been mentioned by every client he’s worked with, and he is always looking for the next opportunity to elevate his craft.

When Collin isn’t telling the same jokes his partner's heard a million times, he can be found in the kitchen laboring on his second love. He spends his days mastering his craft in photography, and his nights whipping up delicious meals and treats for his family. Ask him about his steak marinade, it’ll make his whole day! ;) When he’s not in the kitchen cooking for the family, you can usually find him riffing silly one liner jokes to his life-and-business partner, Kanesha.

Collin’s vision for the future is for PhotoLily to become the most recognized photography studio in SWFL. He has a passion and drive for excellence and is never simply satisfied with “just good enough”. He can usually be found in front of a computer screen until 3 a.m. to finish “just one more photo” (yeah, okay…go to bed, mister!) He loves nothing more than to hear how his clients feel when they leave his photo sessions. Who needs drugs when you have happy clients!?

SWFL is Collin’s usual playground, but he dreams of the day when he books a wedding in Iceland, or Italy. He wants to take his style of photography around the globe and bring a smile to the face of a stranger in a faraway land.
